Since the late 1990s, the Gfohlerhof has been producing and selling high-quality, traditional, farm-made products. From flavorful farmer’s speck and crunchy smoked sausages to delicious apple juice and free-range eggs – here you can enjoy authentic farm products and take them home. We place great emphasis on using local ingredients and intentionally avoid artificial flavors – for a natural, pure taste.

Farmer's Speck

Our farmer’s speck is prepared according to traditional methods, seasoned, and carefully aged for many months – a true delight for any snack.

Kaminwurzen

Our smoked sausages are gently smoked and then dried in the fresh mountain air – perfect for true connoisseurs.

Homemade Salami

The homemade salami is air-dried in a humid environment, giving it a spicy, intense flavor. Ideal for a delicious South Tyrolean “Marende” (snack).

In addition to meat products, we also offer fresh free-range eggs, homemade apple juice from our orchards, sweet raspberry jam, and delicious homemade sausages.

Production

Tradition Meets Passion

The production of our meat and sausages takes place directly on the farm, using traditional recipes without artificial flavors or enhancers. The key to the taste lies in the pork used, which comes from our own stress-free animal husbandry. For beef, we also place great importance on regionality – it comes from South Tyrolean farms directly in our vicinity. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern processing to offer you high-quality products. Slow aging processes and natural ingredients are the key to our unique and authentic flavor.

Animal Husbandry

What Matters to Us

On our farm, the animals live in a way that respects their natural instincts and is as close to nature as possible. Our pigs have access to free-range all year round and enjoy the fresh mountain air at an altitude of around 1000 meters. They are fed grass and hay from our own meadows and can sunbathe or roll in the mud as they please. Their feed is non-GMO and is produced directly in South Tyrol. A respectful relationship with nature, our animals, and the environment is very important to us, so that not only we, but also future generations, can produce and enjoy healthy and sustainable products.
